Six hours on the water. You push off from Budva, and for the first few
kilometres
the coast is still familiar. Then it starts to open up — headlands, hidden coves, houses built straight onto
the
rock. When conditions allow, you duck into grottos, thread through rock arches, and poke around wherever the
coastline gets interesting. You move through it at paddle pace, which is the only pace that actually makes
sense
here.
By the time the islands of Petrovac appear ahead of you, you've covered 18
kilometres. But it doesn't feel like a distance. It feels like a route. There's a difference.
Here's how the day runs
What we'll do
Beach briefing before we push off: gear fit, safety, and a few strokes to dial in your technique.
Point-to-point at steady expedition pace: rock arches, grottos, and stops wherever the coast asks for it.
Two shore breaks to stretch, hydrate, and eat, including the guide's sandwiches, cheese or meat, your call.
Real sea conditions, real skills: reading wind and swell, pacing long legs, staying comfortable all the way.
Navigation Map
1
Lovers’ Arch, St Nicholas Island
We cross to St Nicholas, pass under Lovers’ Arch, trace the cliffs
past the lighthouse, then head out along the open coast.
2
Sveti Stefan from the sea
Paddling past Sveti Stefan, you see it from the angle most
visitors never get: from the water. With a short story from the guide.
3
“Six Pirates” Bay — lunch stop
We land in “Six Pirates” Bay for a simple lunch break: a quiet
cove in the cliffs with a few salty tales.
4
Hotel “AS” — Perazića Do
If timing and conditions allow, we stop by the abandoned Hotel
“AS” for a quick leg stretch and a short explore through its echoing halls.
5
Reževići Waterfall
Fresh water drops straight from the hills into the sea — sometimes
a real waterfall, sometimes a thin thread, always a perfect reset.
6
Petrovac Islands & St Nedjelja Church
We finish by circling the Petrovac islands — St Nedjelja church on
the hill, the bay ahead, and 18 kilometres behind you.

Who is a guide

Rodion Moskaliuk
Born and raised in Crimea, it was impossible not to be shaped by the stunning natural beauty — towering mountains and the endless Black Sea. Rodion's journey began as a dockworker and led him to become a certified sea kayaking guide, specializing in multi-day expeditions. Over five years in water tourism, he completed numerous trips along both the Crimean and Turkish coastlines.
During two years in Turkey, he trained under the international standards of ISKGA (International Sea Kayak Guide Association), completing modules in Incident Management, Expedition Skills, and Sea Survival under the mentorship of Lee Waters.

Vasilii Bagrikov
Conceived in a tent by a mountain river. Born in St. Petersburg, where the Gulf of Finland meets the pine forests of the rocky Karelian Isthmus. Ever since, wherever life has taken him, the sea, forest, and mountains have remained essential and deeply cherished parts of his world. In the wild, Vasilii feels at home, in his natural habitat, in the gentle arms of Mother Nature.
He has sailed over 2,000 nautical miles as a crew member aboard Rocinante, a two-masted ketch, journeying from the Baltic Sea to the Canary Islands. Served as a captain’s mate on whale and dolphin watching tours. Guided multi-day hiking expeditions through the volcanoes of Kamchatka.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where and when do we meet?
At the launch point, 10 minutes before the start. That's when we hand out gear and
run through a short safety and paddling briefing. The exact spot is in your booking details and ticket.
The day before the tour, we'll add you to a group chat — good place to ask any last questions.
What if I've never paddled before?
No problem. We'll cover the basics before we push off, and the guides are with you
the whole way. This route works well for beginners and people with moderate experience.
Are there any physical requirements?
You should be comfortable being active for several hours and spending a full day
on the water. If you have any health concerns, reach out before booking.
Will my personal belongings stay dry?
Yes — we have dry bags in different sizes for your essentials. Anything else can
be left with the team at the start point.
How much time will we spend on the water?
Regular tours last usually 3 or 4 hours. We have breaks for swimming, and
exploring coastal rocks, caves and scheduled beaches.
What do we eat?
Sandwiches. One of our guides has a recipe we've been running for years — cheese
or meat, you choose. A couple of these mid-route is exactly the right amount.
What should I pack?
After booking, you'll get a ticket with a full packing list — clothing, footwear,
and the small stuff people usually forget.
Can I bring a child?
Children over 14 are welcome if they're comfortable around water and physically up
for the day. Drop us a message and we'll talk through the details.
Can I bring my dog?
Not on this one, sorry.
