Kayak guide Stepan Demchenko demonstrating boat control in shallow coastal water

Stepan Demchenko

Stepan grew up by the sea and has spent most of his life on the water — first working with dolphins for over a decade, then shifting into kayak and SUP guiding...

For the past three years, he's led small groups along remote coastal routes he knows by heart — always tuned in to the weather, the water, and the rhythm of the team. His style blends solid technical skills with a deep feel for the environment and group dynamics.

Red Cross certified as a lifeguard, he keeps a steady focus on safety, bringing a calm, professional presence to every trip — and always a story or two along the way.

Instructor Rodion Maskalyuk teaching paddle technique on the shoreline

Rodion Maskalyuk

Born and raised in Crimea, it was impossible not to be shaped by the stunning natural beauty — towering mountains and the endless Black Sea. Rodion's journey began as a dockworker and led him to become a certified sea kayaking guide, specializing in multi-day expeditions. Over five years in water tourism, he completed numerous trips along both the Crimean and Turkish coastlines.

During two years in Turkey, he trained under the international standards of ISKGA (International Sea Kayak Guide Association), completing modules in Incident Management, Expedition Skills, and Sea Survival under the mentorship of Lee Waters.
