We paddle from the coast to the wild side of Sveti Nikola Island and begin our hike across pine-covered trails and rocky paths. Reaching the island’s highest point, we take in sweeping views of the open sea, then continue to the lighthouse at its far edge.
The loop leads us along hidden coves and sea cliffs, wrapping up just in time for a golden-hour paddle back—when the light turns soft and the coastline glows.
What we'll do
Travel in a small group, we’ll move at our own pace, sharing moments with new friends along the way.
Paddle across a shallow rocky passage to the wild shores of Sveti Nikola Island.
Hike a scenic trail where we might meet sea turtles, urchins, or even deer.
Reach the lighthouse at the island’s far edge, facing the endless open sea.

Slovenska Plaža
We push off from the mainland and begin our paddle across the shallow strait. The island lies ahead, quiet and green against the sea.
2
Laguna Beach
A rocky cove where we land the kayaks and stretch our legs. From here, the trail winds gently into the island.
3
The Viewpoint
A narrow ridge with sea on both sides and wind in your hair. One of the island’s highest points, perfect for a long pause.
4
The Lighthouse
Perched at the farthest edge of the island, facing the open Adriatic. Nothing but wind, water, and sky — the world feels far away here.
5
Swallow Point
A quiet cliff where birds dive, circle, and sweep past in flocks. They fill the sky above and the air below your feet.
6
Budva’s Old Town
From the water, Budva’s old town rises above the rocks. Stone walls, red roofs, and centuries of history in one quiet view.

Vasilii Bagrikov
Conceived in a tent by a mountain river. Born in St. Petersburg, where the Gulf of Finland meets the pine forests of the rocky Karelian Isthmus. Ever since, wherever life has taken him, the sea, forest, and mountains have remained essential and deeply cherished parts of his world. In the wild, Vasilii feels at home, in his natural habitat, in the gentle arms of Mother Nature.
He has sailed over 2,000 nautical miles as a crew member aboard Rocinante, a two-masted ketch, journeying from the Baltic Sea to the Canary Islands. Served as a captain’s mate on whale and dolphin watching tours. Guided multi-day hiking expeditions through the volcanoes of Kamchatka.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
What if I have no paddling experience at all?
No problem! We’ll teach you the basics and support you throughout the trip. The route is designed for beginners and those with moderate experience.
Are there any restrictions for joining the tour?
You should feel comfortable with moderate physical activity, including paddling and hiking for several hours. The trail involves uneven terrain, rocky paths, and some uphill walking. If you have any health concerns, feel free to check with us before booking. Please note that we may refuse participation if you’re under the influence of alcohol or not dressed appropriately for outdoor activity.
Will my personal belongings stay dry?
We have high-quality dry bags in all sizes. You can store your essentials in them, and any other items can be left with our staff for safekeeping.
How much time will we spend on the island?
We usually spend around 3 to 4 hours hiking on the island. The trail takes us in a full circle around Sveti Nikola, reaching the summit and exploring cliffs, viewpoints, and hidden corners along the way.
What should I pack?
After booking, we’ll send you a ticket with a detailed packing list with everything you’ll need—from clothing and footwear to small personal items.
How and when will I meet the team and the guide?
You’ll meet the team at the starting point, where everyone gathers about 10 minutes before the tour begins. That’s when we hand out gear and walk you through a short safety and paddling briefing. The exact meeting spot is shown in the tour’s booking details and on your ticket.
Can I bring a child with me?
This tour is not suitable for young children due to the length and difficulty of the hike. Participants must be at least 12 years old and able to comfortably handle several hours of physical activity. If you're unsure whether the tour is right for your child, feel free to contact us before booking.
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs — but keep in mind that this tour includes both kayaking and several hours of hiking on uneven terrain. If your dog is used to long walks, doesn't mind being on a kayak, and can handle the heat and rocky paths, you're welcome to bring them.
